We are looking now for your expertise and contributions to our conference. If you would like to share and present, please apply by completing the Presenters Form online at

We are looking for 55-minute presentations for concurrent sessions on Friday and Saturday of the FAST Conference. The focus should incorporate and address the theme Igniting Curiosity, Illuminating Minds; Florida Science Shines Bright and the Florida NGSSS standards.
If you want to provide a 2 - hour workshop experience on Thursday, October 24h, notify Nancy Besley directly as soon as possible (nancybesley@gmail.com). (There are limited spots for workshops!)
You will be notified by July 12th if the presentation is accepted.
Note:
· The presenters must provide their own equipment – projector, computer, extension cords, etc.
· All presenters/co-presenters will be required to register and pay for the conference by September 20, 2024, to hold your presentation slot (no refunds).

FAST recognizes that educators across our state are going above and beyond with teaching science. Now is a great time to apply for the many awards and grants that FAST offers. The Classroom Grant Application is open and takes less than eight minutes to complete. Try it out for yourself here and see how long it takes you to complete the form. There are also Travel Grants available for those that want to attend the conference. The Travel Grant application takes less than eight minutes to complete also. Would you like to nominate an amazing science educator? How about nominating yourself? We have several educator awards on the Grants and Awards Page.
